How unique is My Art Uplifts to you?

I really like how My Art Uplifts is very community focused, not even just in the way that it encourages everyone of all ages to attend their gatherings, but I feel like My Art Uplifts has a strong and sincere care about its community, often including local pictures on the website and regularly asking for the opinions of Nottingham locals.

Why did you choose My Art Uplifts?

I chose to contribute to My Art Uplifts because I thought the website was pretty cool when I checked it out, I also am interested in artistic hobbies and due to the lockdown I had plenty more time so I was happy to contribute.

Describe your commitment

Enjoyable! I have enjoyed my short term commitment. It was very nice to meet Funs and Joseph, and interesting to learn about their perspectives on the arty things we might speak about. I also liked researching the topics I am interested in, and its always cool to see something that you've done be put online!

What does art mean to you? And how does it make you feel?                                          

I think art is anything that makes you say "wow, that's really great!". Whether its an activity that you're doing yourself, or you're looking at something that gives you that reaction, art can be any crazy, beautiful, interesting thing that you enjoy!

How would you describe your philosophy of life?

My philosophy of life is try to be the best that you can be but make sure you're having a great time in the meantime.
